Casing: 290 TPI Corespun K, the same casing you can find in a Open Corsa Evo CX, KX or KS which are the top clinchers of the Vittoria range. 290 tpi Corespun K is the only casing on the market to be made of Kevlar threads associated with Polycotton threads, for a total of 290 thread per inch on each casing. This special casing assures a better cut resistance, but also the best perfomance and flexibility ever reached, allowing to easily reverse the tyre even after a long period of time with no deformation at all.
Double puncture protection: Revo KXS has got 2 PRB's (Puncture Resistance Belting) in between each tread and the casing.

Safe on all kinds of asphalt and really fast, Diamante Pro is the state-of-the-art of modern bicycle tyre construction. The casing is a 220 TPI nylon wonder and has got an Integra bead-to-bead puncture protection.
Vittoria has developed a specific tread compound, the Kevlar® Carbon 3D Compound, in order to achieve the main goals related to such a high level of racing tyres: grip, low rolling resistance and endurance.
Another feature of this tyre is the tread pattern which has been designed following the "DOT C.O.M Vector design": a slick central part with an orientated diamond pattern on the sides, where each diamond is shaped and oriented to perform better with side and breaking forces.

Thanks to the newly developed tread, with deeper cuts in the middle and shallower on the shoulders Vittoria has achieved a better water dispersion and a faster and safer tyre when cornering.
60 TPI casing, Aramid Endura 3D Compoundnew compound (for a lower rolling resistance) and foldable bead all sum up to enhance the Zaffiro Pro as the ideal training tyre.The Dot C.O.M. ("dot Computer Optimised Measure") concept allows us to calibrate the size of tread dots according to their position on the tread surface. The dots are smaller in the centre (for less rolling resistance) and larger towards the sides (for better grip), giving a tyre that is fast on the straight and safe in bends.
